Typically before Knipping Bookkeeping & Decision Support accepts a new bookkeeping account, a clean-up of prior period transaction characterizations is necessary. In order to provide ongoing professional services that can be used to make future decision, confidence must be gained in the underlying financial data. Clean-up services are negotiable depending on the length of time to be adjusted, the number of accounts involved, and the level of complexity of the business. Clean-up services are a one-time charge paid upon contract signature.
This diagnostic assessment is optional and is based on a review of the historical financial reporting leading up to the start of a bookkeeping service. An evaluation of the financial health of the business will include a comparison to the financial statements and associated KPI’s to competitors in the same industry, and will lead to consultations on the strategic goals for the business. It will set the benchmark for comparisons to future financial deliverables. Costs for this analysis are negotiable.
Services included are ongoing professional AI-based bookkeeping services that accurately categorize and post daily transactions, always fresh financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Statement of Cash Flows) and associated KPI’s, monthly business reporting packages along with progress reports on key management objectives, and year-end closing statements, 1099 reports and other requested information for tax consultations.
In addition to monthly bookkeeping services, ongoing bespoke strategic decision analysis services and consultations tailored to management objectives, uncertainty and risk analysis, scenario-based business analysis, probabilistic business analysis, and/or portfolio analysis. Financial modeling of future cash flows and decision analysis will be fit-for-purpose and scaled to meet the client’s needs.
